Burj Khalifa Park: It is designed by the leading architects SWA Group; Burj Khalifa Park draws inspiration from Hymenocallis, the desert flower. The plants and the shrubbery at the park are watered by a condensation collection system that the buildings use from the cooling system. Dubai Aquarium and Underwater Zoo: Strategically located at the centre of The Dubai Mall, the Dubai Aquarium and Discovery Centre of the mall is one of the largest indoor aquariums of its kind. Through the 270-degree glass walkthrough tunnel, visitors get to view one of the most diverse collections of aquatic life worldwide. It actually illuminates the various marvels of the ocean floor, and showcases more than 33,000 aquatic animals, representing more than 220 species, including sharks and stingrays.

Dubai Ice Rink: The Olympic-sized Dubai Ice Rink, multi-purpose venue of the mall, uses refrigeration plant technology, and can host at least 2000 guests. Children aged 4 to 15 get to enjoy their dream world in this mini-city, spanning 80,000 sq ft with the real streets, shops and buildings, wherein they get to actually live out their dreams of choosing from more than 70 professions including a race car driver, a pilot, policeman, fireman, surgeon and more. It is basically a kid-size replica of a real city.

It is basically a Mexican theme park concept which was first introduced in Mexico City in 1999. In Dubai, it is located on level 2, next to SEGA Republic within the Dubai Mall.
